Course Description

This course was made to serve as refresher where some of the more elementary molecular and cell biology pieces are explored.

Objectives

• Lesson 1: Non-Sequencing Techniques: Understand the basics to PCR, southern blotting,

  karyotyping, in situ hybridization and other basic techniques.

• Lesson 2: Sequencing Techniques including NGS: Understand the basics of Sanger and

  Next Generation Sequencing.
