Assigned Podcast Episode

Study Questions:

  • Think back to the article you read in the last lesson “Proceedings of the African Pathologists Summit; March 22–23, 2013; Dakar, Senegal” - Think about the section named “Challenges With Potential to Discourage the Growth and Sustenance of Pathology”. Imagine you are a pathologist in a high-income country, what could you do to help ameliorate these differences?

  • In this lesson, you are introduced to multiple people working in pathology and global health, take time to summarize their contributions.

  • After listening to the interview from the assigned podcast and drawing on what you’ve read and heard elsewhere in the course, summarize what/how pathology and laboratory medicine contributes to global health security.
