Objectives 

  • Distinguish different types of vascular tumors, including benign vascular tumors (e.g., hobnail hemangioma) and angiosarcoma 

  • Describe and differentiate Kaposi sarcoma versus bacillary angiomatosis, including the etiology of each entity

  • Identify myofibroma and myofibromatosis histologically

  • Determine the clinical and histologic findings of glomus tumors and other pericytic entities (such as intravascular myopericytoma)
