
Lesson 1: Normal Bone and Soft Tissue Histology
Objectives
Describe normal histology and embryology of bone and cartilage
Distinguish various normal cellular components of bone and soft tissue, including (but not limited to) myofibroblasts, smooth muscle, tendon, and nerve
Distinguish a lipoblast from a pseudolipoblast and be able to correlate clinically regarding different types of soft tissue pathology (e.g., liposarcoma)
