  • Know the major types of invasive carcinoma of the breast and the morphologic and prognostic differences between the two. 

  • Understand biomarker profiles of invasive carcinoma and the impact on prognosis and treatment. 

  • Describe Hereditary breast cancer and the relative genes involved. 

  • Know the mammographic and gross features of invasive carcinoma. 

  • Describe special types of invasive mammary carcinoma and the differences in prognosis.
